Nicholas O’Leary (born 1986) grew up amongst the sun and the surf of Gisborne, New Zealand and now lives and works in the rain drenched city of Bergen, Norway. O’Leary works mainly with oil painting and his focus is to explore feelings, moods and perceived beauty. By bending physical rules in his paintings O‘Leary challenges our perceptions of truth and deception, reality and fantasy.
